Zoom on… Cognac |
Just 90 minutes from Bordeaux, the Cognac vineyard boasts an international reputation for its famous spirit, also known as "the liqueur of the gods", with 216.5 million bottles sold in 2019. But Cognac, a City of Art and History, is also a rich heritage and gastronomy that can be discovered along the river Charente from Angoulême to Saintes, and all the way to La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast.
Exclusive: discover the testimony of Stéphane Daugeron, Hennessy Visits Manager.
Did you know? Wes Anderson's highly anticipated film "The French Dispatch", shot entirely in Angoulême, will be released on 21 October 2021 in the United States and internationally. |
