DAYS 1 & 2 : Bordeaux and its vineyards

Day 1: Bordeaux, the city (see itinerary "Starting from Bordeaux" for more details).

Day 2: Saint Emilion Vineyards
Morning: Discovery of the UNESCO-listed medieval city of Saint-Emilion. Not to miss: the underground church and monolith, the Roy Tower, the collegiate church and its cloister, the great walls, the Cordeliers cloister, or the market halls.
Afternoon: Unusual discovery of the vineyards by electric bike, Segway, tuk-tuk, sidecar, or hot-air balloon. OR create your own wine OR Escape Game & initiation to oenology in Saint-Emilion.
Dinner and overnight at the Hostellerie de Plaisance 5* or equivalent.

DAYS 3 & 4 : The Dordogne Valley

Day 3: Périgueux and Lascaux
Morning: Arrival in Périgueux to dive into the Gallo-Roman epoch, or for a bike ride the length of the Isle, stopping by the market to taste the local gastronomy.
Lunch in a typical restaurant near the Saint-Front Cathedral.
Afternoon: Discovery of the Vézère Valley, cradle of mankind with its 14 UNESCO listed prehistoric sites, visiting Lascaux’s parietal art centre.
Dinner and night: at Hôtel de Bouilhac 4* in Montignac or Les Glycines 4* in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil or equivalent.

Day 4: Sarlat
Morning: Discovery of Sarlat, city of art and history, and tasting of local products in one of the markets.
Lunch in the covered market of the Sainte-Marie Church, renovated by Jean Nouvel.
Afternoon: discovery of one of the most beautiful villages of France: Domme, Beynac-et-Cazenac, La Roque Gageac or Castelnaud la Chapelle.
Dinner in town. Night at the Hotel Plaza Madeleine 4* in Sarlat or equivalent.

DAY 5 : Rocamadour

Village perched on a cliff, rich in heritage and visit to the Gouffre de Padirac.

DAYS 6 & 7 : Toulouse

“The Pink City”, owes its nickname to the colour of the bricks that adorn its buildings, giving warmth to the city.

DAY 8 :Carcassonne

Carcassonne, perched on a hill, is famous for its medieval citadel, with its numerous watchtowers and double walls.

DAYS 9 & 10 : Côte d’Azur (Option Barcelona)

Discovery of the Côte d’Azur, the eastern part of the French Mediterranean coast. OR direction Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of the Spanish region of Catalonia, renowned for its art and architecture, including the famed Sagrada Família.
