Itinerary suggestion in the Dordogne Valley:
3 days, departing from Sarlat
Sarlat is the ideal starting spot to explore all of the Dordogne Valley’s treasures. Programme : a tour of the medieval town of Sarlat and the International Parietal Art Centre, a gabare-boat or canoe ride down the Dordogne, a tour of the area’s “Plus Beaux Villages de France”, medieval fortified towns and culinary experiences.

Classified by UNESCO, the Lascaux cave is one of mankind’s most important archaeological discoveries. The International Parietal Art Centre in Montignac - Lascaux takes visitors on a sensory journey, as close as possible to our ancestors, combining the emotion of ancestral art with technological prowess. André Barbé, the Managing Director of Semitour, which manages the Lascaux cave as well as other cultural sites in Dordogne, tells us the history of the cave and presents the new features expected in 2021.

"Hermione - Explore France" trip: a new journey in spring 2022 for the Hermione, the ambassador ship of the French destination
The Hermione frigate, a replica of the Marquis de La Fayette’s iconic ship based in Rochefort, south of La Rochelle, will set sail again in spring 2022 on a tour of Northern European countries, under the banner "EXPLORE FRANCE". Four stopovers are planned in Antwerp, London, Amsterdam and Hamburg, and several highlights and meetings with tourism professionals and the press will be organized in each city.
