The Cordouan Lighthouse is now a Unesco World Heritage Site!
Nicknamed the "Versailles of the Seas", the Cordouan Lighthouse has just been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Built in 1611, it stands proudly at the entrance to the Gironde Estuary, 2 hours from Bordeaux, and can be visited from April to November.

Also classified as a Historical Monument, it joins the list of 15 sites listed by UNESCO in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

Océana Lumina: a new magical experience in the heart of the Arsenal des mers in Rochefort, Charente-Maritime
30 minutes from La Rochelle,is the Arsenal de Rochefort, dedicated to the maritime world, where the new Océana Lumina night-time trail poetically retraces the conquest of the seas. It invites visitors on a sensory journey to discover the four other emblematic sites of the Arsenal, including the Hermione frigate, in a light show.

Moment Factory, which produced the Océana Lumina project, is well known for its sites all over the world.
