A festive and lively destination
Besides the very famous Fêtes de Bayonne which take place each year in July, Biarritz-Pays Basque is getting ready for new festivities, focusing on the destination’s socialite aspect.
- The new fun and friendly Millesim GT Tour road trip will give pride of place to the landscapes and mythical roads of Nouvelle-Aquitaine from 15th March 2021 and will end in Biarritz. The reward ceremony will be held at the Hôtel du Palais, which is due to reopen on the same day.
- Wheels and Waves, the eclectic annual vintage motorbike and surfing event is back in Biarritz from 30 June to 4 July 2021 and will be celebrating its 10th anniversary.
- The prestigious Concours d’Elégance is returning to Biarritz from 17 to 19 September 2021 making it the world capital of classic cars for a weekend. This glamorous competition had not been organised since 1958. Programme: a parade in the legendary Hôtel du Palais, an elegance competition, 1930s retro grand prix, two rallies, an auction, a dedicated village and a car exhibition area to stroll through... for enthusiasts and bystanders alike!
