To discover the destination and its assets in a different way, new routes and visits are planned for 2021: a heritage trail with connected panels, themed walks, hikes offering new panoramas...
- The Biarritz Tourist Office offers various guided themed tours. In 2021, a new connected Heritage stroll will enable visitors to explore 9 buildings that bear witness to the city's prestigious past such as Villa Larralde, the Municipal Casino, the Palace Hotel, the Imperial Chapel or les Halles market, thanks to connected plates.
- Discover the town in a whole new way with « Biarritz Poésie » : a poetic journey through the heart of the city in the form of a treasure hunt, featuring quotes from famous authors who forged a significant link with the city during their lifetime. 10 quotes from artists - writers, poets, filmmakers, musicians, visual artists - have thus been integrated throughout the city to give everyone the opportunity to discover these sentences and discover the connections of Victor Hugo, Jean Cocteau, Romy Schneider… to name a few, with the seaside resort.
- Le Sentier du littoral path between Hendaye and Bidart offers one of the loveliest panoramas of the coast. This itinerary is expected to expand during the summer of 2021. The new 15 km (9.3 mile) portion will lead visitors through Biarritz via the Port des Pêcheurs and Grande Plage to Anglet, via le Phare (lighthouse). Accessible to all visitors, Sentier du Littoral offers a total of 4 days of itinerances, that can be carried out in several stages.
